34059 "Sir Archibald Sinclair" a rebuilt Bulleid Battle of Britain Class steam locomotive begins the climb onto Freshfield Bank on the Bluebell Railway. Taken during the Branchline Gala of 2025, the locomotive is also hauling another Brighton built locomotive in No72. Fenchurch on the rear of the coaching set.

34059 was named after Archibald Sinclair, the 1st Viscount of Thurso and Secretary of State for Air from May 1940 to May 1945. A man involved in the immediate planning for the Battle of Britain. After the war, with the Southern Railway commissioning the more of the Light Pacific locos, one of the Battle of Britain class 21C159 was named in honour of him and Sir Archibald Sinclair performed the naming ceremony at Waterloo station himself. The locomotive was mainly based down in the West Country before being withdrawn from service in May 1966 and sent to the infamous Barry Scrapyard in Wales. The locomotive had a long route back to running again when it was bought in 1979. It wouldn't be till 2009 that the locomotive steamed again and even then she had problems. She would be withdrawn from service in 2011 and would not return to service till December 2023, being formally launched in June 2024.
