Sharpthorne Steam

The Journey

Sharpthorne Steam was set up as a way to get through a particularly hard part of my life and to give me focus again. It started with just trying to find a particular crossing on the Bluebell Railway, rather than a particular love of photography. Once I found that crossing, the journey started to fall into place.

I have lived in Sharpthorne most of my life and always had an interest of trains from a very young age. But never thought about keeping a library of images/videos to look back on. I started initially out with my phone camera but moved to the camera that gave me a new purpose in life, my trusty Nikon Zf. Since then, I have treated the camera as an excuse to travel and an excuse to enjoy life once again.

I hope you enjoy the pictures and why not follow along on Instagram, YouTube or Facebook.

Thank you

Ben
