Beachy Head is seen at the old West Hoathly station between two tree trucks during early 2025.

Beachy Head (No.32424) is a new build locomotive that has been a labour of love for around 25 years. Formally started in 2000, the boiler is a Great Northern Railway (GNR) Atlantic boiler, the only original parts being the whistle and regulator that were taken off the original Beachy Head which was withdrawn from service in 1958 and scrapped. This event pressed the Bluebell Railway to start and to acquire as many Southern region locomotives and stock as possible. The new build would begin in October 2000 after years of acquiring parts from relevant locomotives as well a host of new parts. The locomotive would first steam in 2024 and begin testing in June 2024. In August 2024 she would enter service during a special event that celebrated Brighton Works locomotives.
