Product Description:
Celebrate the golden age of steam with this high-resolution digital download of Bluebell Railway’s O1 Class No.65, photographed on the Southern Region turntable at Didcot Railway Centre. This striking image captures the locomotive away from its Sussex home, highlighting both its Southern heritage and enduring preservation.

About O1 No.65:
Built at Ashford Works in 1896 for the South Eastern Railway (SER), No.65 is one of the few surviving examples of the O1 class, designed by James Stirling. These sturdy 0-6-0 locomotives were the workhorses of the SER, hauling both passenger and freight across Kent and Sussex. After nationalisation, No.65 continued service under British Railways until withdrawal in 1961.

Rescued for preservation, it eventually found a permanent home at the Bluebell Railway, where it has become a favourite among enthusiasts thanks to its authentic Southern Eastern Railway appearance and operational role on heritage services.
