Hagley Hall passes Orchards Crossing on a snowy January day during the 2025 Winter Steam Gala on the Severn Valley Railway.

Built in 1929, the locomotive was built in the legendary Swindon Works, the locomotive in its working life would rack up an impressive 1.2 million miles before retirement came in 1963. Hagley would be bought in 1972 and return to passenger working in 1979, she would be a regular mainline locomotive until withdrawn from service in 1986. The locomotive would return to service again after overhaul in 2022 to the Severn Valley Railway.
