Set in the valley named after the River Douro, this railway makes it way through the Portuguese countryside and out towards the Spanish border. With the Class 1400 on this route being a cousin of the Class 20 English Electric diesel, it is a fantastic way to travel in style in vintage stock and watch some truly stunning landscape.
